A quiet came over the battlefield, as Milivoj tied up the armoured man, while he was still under a hypnotic pattern. Otto was frantically checking the pulses of the two Stormstrike Clan, finding them dead. He asked Belbera if she had any diamonds to resurrect them, but she said they shouldn't bother. They died in service of Kord and are already in Ysgard enjoying their afterlife. This made most of the group uneasy, but acquiesced. Valeyo asked about their plans, to which Belbera said they would rest downstairs and then return to a holy site at their headquarters. Eager to get them away from the ruins, Valeyo concocted a story about the facility being unstable, in order to convince the Stormstrike they should leave. He offered to teleport them to  safer place, meaning Velinde and they agreed. A few minutes after, he had them walk through a teleportation circle leaving the group alone of the mountain top.

They took the elevator down, intending to investigate the rest of the facility, before deciding what to do next. Before that, they decided to take a little rest and go over the items they had found. Magical items included

1. The armoured man's sword
2. Schemer's ring - used to be magical
3. Schemer's second ring - ring of stolen alacrity
4. Potion, like liquified iron
5. Necklace that goes tightly around the neck with gill-like holes on the side - Necklace of adaptation
6. Burgundy cloak, which smells of sulfur and lets off black soot - cape of the mountebank

While some of the group were looking through the items, Valeyo focused on their captive. He had Milivoj remove the man's helmet revealing a young human in his early 20s, with a patchy beard and a hair cur as short as possible. On his were scars from prior fights. They put him against one of the crates and Valeyo asked him if he could speak. He responded in a deep glutaral growling language that he couldn't understand. It seemed familiar to Milivoj, but not enough to speak it. It became clear that conversing this way would be hard, so they decided to put it off for tomorrow, when Otto could translate with his spell.

In the meantime, they went over the items they had found. Sapphira took the quiver, Milivoj the flail, Shiek the ring, and Valeyo the cloak. Then they started checking the two rooms, they had ignored before. The first one was another dormitory, where many dead and dormant warforged littered the floor. The final room was much of the same, the group thought they might be able to restore one using the workshop, if they chose to. Before that, they decided to power the generator and see if they could create some Starfall Alloy.

Milivoj brought out the barrel of Sky Stone and they put about 1/5 of it in the engine and the facility came to life. Lights turn on in the halls and Valeyo felt his Suggestion spell drop. Before being able to investigate the changes in the room, they  all ran towards the elevator, with Otto Dimension Dooring himself and Milivoj to him, knocking him out.

With the power on, the facility was warmer and the elevator was faster and didn't cause the mountain to shake. This time, they decided to tie the man, put him in a box and put an alarm spell around him. On him, Milivoj found an amulet depicting a bastardized version of the symbol to Erathis.

Next their plans were to make some Starfall Alloy and try fixing a warforged. To start with the alloy, the first used the setting that bypasses the mithril catalyst. The machine began its work, puffing and hissing and after 5 minutes or so, it produced a cylinder of this metal. From what the group could tell, they had enough left for 4 more ingots. The second run, they made with the Mithril catalyst. It went much the same, but the second ingot had a hit of blue to the alloy. The first was soft, as far as metals go, while the second much harder. Valeyo posited that the first was likely the one used for fuel, while the second was used for armour.

When it came to fixing the warforged, Shiek said he could try to access the knowledge of the dagger to help them, but it would take some time. Meanwhile Milivoj studied the longsword they had found (just a +1) and the others dragged the chosen dormant warforged to the workshop. Once Shiek was ready, Cassini used Comprehend Languages, to read some of the schematics around the workshop to learn how to wake a dormant one up. It took the help of Vlaeyo, Cassini and Otto, but Shiek was eventually able to remove the warforged's core, which the schematics said would normally be surrounded by a liquid. This one was fully dry from centuries of inactivity, but the barrels in the workshop had more than enough. Consuming the last energy in the facility, he was able to jumpstart the core. The creature's eyes lit up, as it began regaining consciousness. Shiek asked how they were going to speak causing all of them to go quiet. About 5 minutes later, it suddenly stood up and looked at them, with a fearful look in its eyes. It stood up and began moving to one of the corners of the room. As it did from inside its forearm shot out a short sword.

Valeyo used his universal language feature and told it is had been a long time and they will be able to speak tomorrow, they mean it no hard. The last year it remembered was 3rd Era 5515. The empire fell in 3-5624. The fourth era was 4-779, and the current year was 5-10. AS of now, it had been 898 years and they told it that. It spoke in Temerian, but the only thing they understood was the word Suryanvici - Starfall. They asked if it mean project Starfall and it nodded. Valeyo asked if it spoke any other languages and the warforged became thoughtful for a while. It then opened a slot in its neck and pulled out a box, which had slots for 3 small tablets. One of them was filled. They managed to covey that it needed to find one of these tablets for the other languages and some of the other warforged might have it. Otto and Cassini went to the dorms to look for some and after half an hour came across one that was different - having draconic markings. It read Draconic Voice Module. They returned and placed it inside the box the warforged was holding out, before putting it back into itself and started to speak in draconic.

Its voice was stiff and the pitch was often wrong, but it spoke and Milivoj understood it. It asked about Starfall, calling it the answer to their subjugation from the Temerians. They told it the Empire had fallen and it asked why they were there. They told it that it was because of a cult trying to use its brethren for evil. When asked about Starfall it called it "A brother created to defeat the oppressors.". Valeyo told it of what happened since the Temerian, the sinking of the capital etc. Finally they asked it, what it wanted to do to which it said "Look around."

They walked around it pointing out thinks to them. On the way they introduced themselves and so did it. It was give Designation B72. It described the refinery, much of which the group had deduced already, though in more detail. For the ship, it said they didn't need to worry about not fitting, as it carried the large boxes up by hanging them from chains beneath the vessel. When they came before Starfall, it went down in almost a prayer. In the meantime, Valeyo told the group that these warforged, must have escaped Velinde and came here to prepare their "savior", to them free their brothers in Temeria. Shiek said it might be best if we left the facility in the warforged's hands, Valeyo agreed but also said there were people in Velinde who would love to meet B72 and would make sure they are protected. Milivoj asked it if there was a teleportation circle here. It said magic was oppressive and warforged were bad at it and Temeria used it against them. Valeyo chuckled at the irony and told B72 that the only known warforged of this era is considered the greatest wizard alive and was one of the people Valeyo suggested could protect him. They also mentioned Vincent to him, as another man they could take him to, someone who would love to learn from B72's knowledge and who had the funds needed to make use of it. For that to work, B72 would need to learn the common tongues of present day. They said that if they found a blank Language Chip, they could, with time, learn their language and so the group took a final look though the warforged, finding a blank chip, which B72 slotted in. With their little tour over, B72 sat down and said it needed time to think, so the group started discussing their next plans amongst themselves.

Suddenly, Valeyo received a sending from Dr Stanov:

Dr Stanov Message - Demon Incursion update, I have an informant in Moratopp, they have info for you.

Response - Oh, good. Headed there anyway. We need to talk. Meet at tournament in Novograd. Have info on Violet Flame.

Shiek said he had considered contacting Midnight, or seeing if they can read the parts of the journal he could not. He also wondered about finding out more about the Feywild and Milivoj said Novograd might not be a bad place to start, as there were practitioners of the Old Faith. Sapphira said she was sticking around, as did Cassini, since he didn't know what he would do with the telescope without the group. Shiek also wondered about switching bodies, but worried it eats away at him. Valeyo told him that he understood if he wanted to be out of Omar's body, afterall the man had tried to kill him. Shiek just nodded before quietly saying that Omar had done more than that. Valeyo told the group that he would be able to take them to Novograd, once they were ready to head south, having learnt the teleportation circle sequence from Ysomir and the group were in agreement that they should go to Moratop before doing that. They asked B72 if the airship could take them across to another mountain across the valley and they said it should be able to with 1 cylinder of fuel. Before preparing for a well-earned rest, they turned to B72 to ask if they wanted to be taken to either of the options that the group had presented. They thought for a bit before saying they weren't sure, as war is all they had ever known. Valeyo said they might need to think of a new name for their people, other than warforged, one fit for this era. He offered B72 the chance to travel with their group, telling him that while they aren't warriors, they ofter get in to trouble, so it might me a way of easing them into the peaceful like. B72 agreed, that it is best to take it slow and said they would come with them.
