At the top of the staircase, Sapphira could see a hatch. She began climbing with Otto and Valeyo following. After the hatch, was a small room, from which another ladder rose. They kept going up and emerged into a larger room, likely occupying the warforged's chest cavity. There she noticed a few things, two ladders either side, leading to what she suspected were the shoulder joints and one in the centre towards the neck. In the centre of the room, was a smaller but more intricate version of the Starfall engine they had seen earlier. This one looked like it had to use Starfall Alloy and couldn't be substituted with Sky Stone. Otto and Valeyo climbed into the room too and began searching for any Starfall Alloy. There were storage compartments in the walls, but all were empty. Sapphira looked at the engine and noticed new writing on the engine, more recent and not in Temerian. It wasn't anything they three could understand and so Otto went down to call for Cassini. Meanwhile, Sapphira went up to the head. There she saw build into the wall the body of a smaller warforged, whose head was completely encompassed by the larger structure. The warforged seemed to be fully connected to the larger structure, melded into the colossus, removing them was not something the group could do easily.

Cassini finished climbing up the leg with Otto and he went to study the runes. From what he could tell, these runes changed the engine's property to use an alternative power source, potentially the phoenix. Valeyo and Cassini went to climb down, while Otto and Shiek explored the remaining arms. In each was a large canister, in which was a thick yellow gas. Shiek assumed it was a weapon or a self-defense mechanism and he began climbing down. When everyone was together they talked about what to do with the warforged. Shiek and Valeyo agreed they needed to destroy it, but weren't sure whether to do it now or after dealing with the phoenix. Otto agreed they should do it after, so they have more time to check for traps and do it properly. The group considered messaging Vincent, but decided that 25 words were too few to have a productive conversation about their situation. Ultimately, Saphhira laid an alarm at the base of the ladder to alert them of anyone trying to access it and they continued their exploration.

Continuing down, at the end of the corridor was a large metal door, before that either side were labeled Refinery and Workshop. Choosing the refinery, they were faced with a large machine, with three impute locations and a cart full of sky stone remains. Reading the labels on the inputs, Cassini could tell that it took Salt, Skystone and Silver. Further down the machine were three large demijohn filled with the same yellowish gas, labeled Poisonous gas. Valeyo sat down and began making a drawing of the machine, while Cassini looked around for more labeling.

Otto called upon his experience with brewing and could tell that salt seemed to be the majority of the material used  for the alloy. The salt would be broken down into this yellow gas and something else. The something else would them be combined with Skystone and silver in equal amounts to create the alloy. The machine itself created the alloy in 30x10cm cylinders of this alloy. As part of the silver's addition, there was a lever that changed parts of the process. It was unclear what it did, but it seemed to use a catalyst of sort, while the other didn't. He worked out how to open the machine and the catalyst turned out to look like a nail-spike. Otto recognized it as Mithril. He broke the nail out and put it in his bag.

Happy with what they had discovered, Shiek decided to check the door at the end of the room, which lead to the adjacent lift room, they had seen labeled before. In there were a number of crates, labeled salt and silver and at the other end another door leading to the Hangar, where Cassini had seen the small Sky Ship. They considered using the supplies and their Sky stone to make some Starfall Alloy, which they could use to fly the airship, but chose to finish exploring the facility first.

Next they went to the workshop, which appeared equipped for the construction of Project Starfall. Parts they had seen in the juggernaut who attacked them were here it seemed the facility was sued to upgrade the warforged, armour. There were also notes, written in Common, which were recent. It spoke of a way to "inflame" warforged and bring them to the violet flame. It only worked on dormant warforged and used the "feather fire". After reading that, they saw in the bak a small flame, which turned out to be coming from a single red feather with a Violet tinge. Valeyo suggested taking it and Sapphire grabbed a pair of thongs to move it. When she did, the feather refused to move and a voice spoke in their heads saying "I do not give you permission to touch me." before it erupted in flame. When the light diminished standing there was a anthropomorphic bird-like person made of violet flame.

Combat started and the group quickly focused the being. Otto landed a powerful blow with a shard from his helmet, but the creature seemed unaffected by the paralysis. They managed to finish it off, causing it to turn back to a feather, but not before it erupted more fire, spawning more Violet Flame elementals around. The group defeated them and Milivoj grabbed the feather from the floor.

It was no longer emitting heat and so he put it in the bag of holding. They considered resting for a bit, but before wanting to do so, they chose to check out the final door. Shiek went to it and opened it, only to be blasted by strong winds, as the door lead to the outside. From there he saw the Stromstrike Clan camping in the distance. Shiek called out to it and they entered.

The asked the party how they opened the door and Shiek told them it wasn't locked from the inside. They entered and the group filled them in on the fight they had just had. They asked them for some healing before all of them headed up the elevator. On the way up, they checked the boxes to see of the do have silver and salt in there and it turned out they did. Once everyone was on the lift, Belbera pulled the lever and the who floor shook. They group now realized that this was the cause of the sounds and the shaking they had felt in the days before, as the lift grinded against the stone, without having a full power source.

They ascended until they reached the top of the mountain. There strong winds struck them again and the saw in front of them a 30ft tall tower. Behind them was another Juggernaut, glowing in violet flam and beside him a humanoid with a flaming Violet Spear, which they held at arm's length. What grabbed their attention however, was a gargantuan bird made of Violet Flame stood at the peak of the mountain.
